What is Squid Game
Squid Game is a South Korean survival thriller television series created and directed by Hwang Dong Hyuk.
The series revolves around a secret competition where all players are trapped in a financial crisis and need to risk their lives to play deadly children's games so that they can win a huge prize. The title of Squid Game is taken from the Korean children's game ojingŏ ("squid").
How to play Gonggi Game
The game has 5 levels or grades, each with different difficulty levels, and each level is harder than the previous one.
- Level 1:
Throw all the game stones onto the playing surface, and then the player can choose one of them to throw into the air. When the stone is in the air, the player needs to pick up one stone on the ground. Then, catch the stone that falls from the air. In this way, the player has a total of 2 stones in his hand. Continue to repeat this process until all the stones on the ground are picked up.
- Level 2:
Similarly, throw all the game stones onto the playing surface, and then the player can choose any one of them to throw into the air. However, now you need to pick up any two stones each time until all the stones on the ground are picked up.
- Level 3:
This level is different. You need to pick up 3 stones the first time, and then pick up 1 stone the second time.
- Level 4:
In the third level, you already have all the stones in your hand. At this time, you need to throw one stone in the air, then put the remaining stones on the ground, and then catch the airborne stone. Tosses the same stone again, then pick up all the stones on the ground at once, and also catch the stones in the air.
- Level 5:
Throw all the stones in your hand into the air, then turn your hand so that the back of your hand is facing up and the palm is facing down. Then, catch all the stones that fall from the air with the back of your hand. The last step is to continue throwing all the stones into the air, and then you need to catch the stones in the air with your palm facing down.
The most difficult are the fourth and fifth levels, and the gameplay changes from the fourth level. Especially the fifth level, you usually need more practice to master the skills.
Tricks in Level 5
Dragon(In korean,Arirang)
This complex move involves a quick hand reversal. While the stone is in mid-air, the player flips their hand from palm up to palm down. They then catch the stone in the palm down position. Successfully performing a Dragon doubles the player's score for that turn.
Clap Toss
This technique requires precise timing. While the stone is in the air, the player claps their hands before catching the stone. As with the Dragon, a successful Clap Toss doubles the score for that turn.
